Union Pier Cruise Terminal

Planning Process

There are four phases to the planning process:

Phase I - Discovery and Analysis

The planning team studies the site and related economic, design, and engineering data.

Phase II - Listening and Planning

Based on the valuable input received from the public during the Listening Session on Oct. 28, Web site comments and other input, as well as the planning team’s early analysis, the planning process schedule will be adjusted to allow for some additional study and evaluation time.  More information can be found here.

Phase III – Preliminary Plan, developed and presented to the public for comments and input on February 9. More information about the Concept Plan can be found here.

Phase IV – Union Pier Cruise Terminal Master Plan, to be presented to the public, anticipated for late March 2010.
